River House

This kitchen design was built around the needs of a neurodivergent user, prioritizing clarity and comfort within a small footprint. Open shelving reduces cognitive load, letting the user visually locate items without searching behind closed doors. A pull-out table and banquette seating add flexible dining capacity without expanding the footprint. Full wall elevations and 3D renderings were developed together to communicate both the technical layout and the everyday feel of the space.

Gym/Shed

This project is currently in progress, with construction documents developed through a third revision and submitted for permit to the City of Daphne. The 16’x20′ detached gym and shed structure meets Baldwin County’s coastal wind requirements, including a 130 mph wind rating and Exposure Category C classification. A slab-on-grade foundation was selected based on the site’s FEMA Flood Zone X designation, keeping the structure straightforward and code-compliant. Remaining work includes finalizing foundation details and confirming window tag alignment before final approval

Helton Cottage Plan

This historic preservation project transforms a cottage into a flexible community home while respecting the original structure’s architectural character. The floor plan organizes communal dining, kitchen, living, and support spaces to serve a range of community activities. The layout was developed as a proposal to present to community members, prioritizing feedback and flexibility over a rigid program. Warm 3D renderings carried the building’s historic materiality into a welcoming, accessible vision for the space.
